As you have probably already experienced, part of your LST training is to take care of the necessary business that will allow you to get onto the mission field and begin your work. For some of our teams, that means applying for a visa to the country you will be working in. LST is here to help you!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AS YOU GET STARTED:
- Visas must be done in a very timely manner. Kristin Sullivan will prompt the start of the visa process for you and your team by emailing your Trainer. Any visa materials mailed should be addressed to:

- Visas are processed as a team. The entire team must submit their items together. Please use Fed Ex, DHL or another traceable courier when sending these important documents.
- A Valid Passport is required for ALL visas and in all cases, the ACTUAL passport must be sent. See individual instructions per country.
- Your passport must be signed by you. Your passport must be valid until at least 6 months beyond the date you will return from your project.
- Please complete all forms in black ink only and please print in block letters.
- LST covers the cost of all visas (except for initial mailing cost).
- LST will submit your application to the Consulate – DO NOT send your items to the Consulate.

The visa applications require the Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download). After downloading the Acrobat installer, exit your Internet browser, run the installer application, then restart your browser and return here.

VISA INFORMATION
Below is a list of countries that require an entry visa. If your country is listed, please follow the links and instructions.
- Belgium - No visa required. Sufficient Funds and proof of airline tickets required. Email Kristin Sullivan w/ questions. Kristin.Sullivan@LST.org
- Brazil – Visa required

China– Visa required. If you have been issued a Chinese visa in the past please check to see if it is a multiple-entry visa and check it's validity. You may not need a new one.

- Mozambique – Visa required
- Philippines - Visa required if staying more than 21 days.
- Russia - Visa required
- Rwanda - No visa required; Proof of Yellow Fever Immunization required
- Taiwan- Visa required if staying longer than 30 days.
- Tanzania- Visa required
- Thailand– If staying more than 30 days, visa required.
- Uganda - Visa required. Yellow Fever vaccination required.
- Ukraine - Visa no longer required for stays less than 90 days
- Senegal - Visa not required.
