 Who Should Attend?

LST’s STAR Weekend (Start Training And Recruiting) is for every person who has applied to recruit/train LST International teams that will serve on-site during 2009.

What is the Purpose of STAR?

• To equip and inspire you to recruit and train LST teams at your congregation or campus. 
• To give you a clear understanding of how God is going to use you and your team to make a difference on the mission field through the Let's Start Talking Ministry.

Site, Schedule, and Content

• Site - The program events will be held at the Richland Hills Church of Christ(6300 NE Loop 820, NRH, TX 76180).  Click Here for a map.    

• Schedule
  • 8:00 - 9:00 am - Breakfast for newcomers
    For people who are brand new to LST (never trained or gone)
  • 9:30 am - 4:00 pm - Main Program 
    For all trainers (new and experienced)
  • Lunch will be provided.
• Content
  • During the weekend we will cover important material for training and recruiting teams, and we will also worship, share stories, and inspire each other to step by faith into the work God has given us.

What to Bring

• Prior to coming please submit an on-line 2009 LST Team Application so we can approve your application before the weekend.  Fill this out at www.LST.org.
• Personal items and something for note-taking.  Bring extra room in your luggage for supplies we will provide during the weekend (workbooks, fundraising envelopes, etc.).
• Every trainer will be provided a hard-copy of the training manual (one per site).
• Dress is casual.
