Mission experiences shape the faith of teenagers in ways that almost no other experience can. Let’s Start Talking has been creating mission opportunities for college students and adults for thirty years. Now teenagers can have the same wonderful experience through an LST project created just for youth groups - YoungFriends.

LST has created a youth mission experience based on the LST strategy and success. The goal of YoungFriends is to equip and send teenagers on a life-transforming mission project.

In a YoungFriends program, teenagers who have completed 9th grade, accompanied by parents/adults* will receive youth-oriented LST training in cross cultural communications, faith sharing, and team dynamics. The YF group will then travel to a mission field and conduct a ten-day outreach effort , using the following activities:

• C-GROUPS - Daily Conversation groups designed to help local teens improve their conversational English and form friendships with your group and the local church.
• BLAST - Evening large-group activities to further enhance relationships, especially between the local church youth group and the local teens participating in YoungFriends.
• FRENZY - A day full of activities designed to end the project with a bang!

 Your teens will share their faith personally with young people in a mission experience that impacts their faith in Jesus and their commitment to His people.
